Work

The full record — placements, publisher sites, and what the measurement actually showed on both sides of the ledger.

The record

Placements, counted

Every number here is one I can show you the working for. A supplier who reports only totals is reporting the easy half; the interesting figure is how many publishers get reused, because recycling the same twenty sites across every client is how a footprint gets built.

2,073 placements published
25 client brands
1,114 unique publisher domains
759 of those used once only

759 used once only 355 used more than once

One square per publisher. Running every client through the same handful of sites makes the work look manufactured, so most of these were used once and then left alone.

What actually happened

Both halves of the data

Across the 19 client sites where before-and-after measurement was possible. Referring domains and Domain Rating moved reliably. Estimated organic traffic did not — it rose on some and fell on others, and both are shown here at the same size.

Sites that gained referring domains 18 / 19
Sites that gained Domain Rating 18 / 19
Sites where estimated organic traffic rose 10 / 19
Sites where estimated organic traffic fell 8 / 19

Read this before you read the numbers. Mean Domain Rating gain across the sites that moved was 14.2 points. Domain Rating is a third-party score, not a ranking. Traffic figures are Ahrefs estimates, and a placement campaign is never the only thing changing on a site — so none of this establishes cause. It is a record of what happened alongside the work, published in full rather than filtered down to the wins.

Verifiable

Where the account is public

Standing on the marketplaces I actually trade through. These pages are maintained by the platforms, not by me, which is exactly why they are worth more than a testimonial on my own site.

Terms

What I will not promise

These are said up front rather than discovered later. If a supplier will not put this list in writing, that tells you something.

No guaranteed rankings, no guaranteed indexing

Nobody can promise those. Search engines decide what they index and how they rank it.

Publisher terms are disclosed before you approve a site

How the publisher labels and marks the piece is stated plainly, before anything is ordered.

A placement can be removed months later

Editors change, sites get sold, articles get pruned. If it happens I tell you and replace it.

No private networks and no .edu schemes

I do not sell them.

Niches I do not take
  • Gambling and casino
  • Adult
  • CBD
  • Vaping
  • Unlicensed pharma
  • Crypto promotion
  • Insurance

Those need a different publisher pool and a different appetite for risk. Pretending otherwise wastes your money and my time.
